The Brothers form a community in lots of parish schools and even more in orphanages.
1882
From the 27th of September 1882 till the 23th of September 1887 the Brothers were active in the primary school Our Holy Mary to Angels in Tervuren (Belgium). One old pupil joined the congregation.
From The 23th of October 1882 till the 12th of September 1901 the Brothers kept open a second residence of the orphanage in North-Hyde, namely the Saint- Carolus School in Aeling Brentwood (Great-Britain).
1886
From the 13th of March 1886 till 1910 the Brothers formed a community in the orphanage Our Holy Mary of Ascension in Todi (Italy).
1887
From the 27th of September 1887 till the 31st of December 1912 the Brothers formed a community in the Saint-Joseph school in Antwerp (Belgium). Four old pupils joined the congregation.
On the 12th of October 1887 the Brothers started with the preparation of the orphanage Saint-Peter in Scheut (Belgium). It opened on the 28th of February 1889. Three old pupils joined the congregation.
1889
From the third November 1889 till the 5th of March 1934, the Brothers worked in the old people’s home Saint-Leo in Carpineto Romano (Italy).
1890
From the 22nd of September 1890 till…, the Brothers were active in the primary school Saint- Ambrosius in Bellusco (Italy).
1891
From March 1891 till the 31 of December 1912 the Brothers formed a community in the orphanage saint-Joseph in Antwerp (Belgium). Four old pupils joined the congregation.
From the 17th of September till August 1892 the Brothers were active in the Pensionnat Saint –Joseph in Beauraing (Belgium)
1892
From the 1st of September 1892 till the 15th of June 1953 the Brothers formed community in the Saint-Gertrud School and the Saint-Stanislas Institute in Etterbeek (Belgium). Five old pupils of Saint-Gertrud and one of Saint-Stanislas joined the congregation.
1893
From the 27th of November 1893 till 1936 the Brothers were active in the College “Veliterno-Monaco la Valetta in Villetri (Italy)
1894
From September 1894 till 1917 the Brothers were present in the Secondary Saint-Peter School in Wetteren. Two old pupils joined the congregation.
From October 1894 till the 22nd of October 1899 the Brothers in Islington (Great-Britain) were active in the Home Saint-Nicolas, where they welcomed homeless children out of our schools.
In October 1894 the Brothers started in the parish school as well as in the drawing-school Saint-Eligius (Antwerp-Belgium). That was the start of the present saint-Eligius Institute. The Higher education in Saint-Eligius was fused within the The Karel de Grote-Hogeschool with 10 Campus and the secondary school became the Scheppers Institute with three settlements: one in Antwerp and two in Deurne (near Antwerp), namely the Eligius Institute in Antwerp and the institute of the same name in Deurne – it used to be called The “Fredegandus Institute- and the Sancta-Maria Institute. In 2018 The Scheppers Institute has 1003 pupils in the three settlements. And 148 staff members in the primary and the secondary Schools.
The community in Antwerp had 9 Brothers in 1956. 17 old pupils joined the congregation.
From the 19th November 1894 till.... the Brothers were active in the orphanage “Our Holy Mary of the Rosary” in Intra (Italy).
1898
From the 12th January 1898 till... the Brothers were active in the technical school Saint-John in Walthamstow (Great-Britain).
1899
From the 15th of August 1899 till the 15th of October 1951, the Brothers worked in the Saint-Johns School in Mechelen (Belgium). Seven old pupils joined the congregation.
1900
On the 12th of April 1900 the Brothers started with the education of the orphans in Anderlecht (Belgium) in the orphanage that later became The Saint-Nicolas Institute with infant school and primary school as well as secondary education. In 2018 the Institute had 1197 pupils and 133 staff members.
In 1956 the community of Saint-Nicolas had 35 Brothers. Five old pupils joined the congregation.
1901
From the 19th of March 1901 till 1903 the Brothers took care of the education of young workmen in the “Tata Giovanni School” in Rome.
From the 15th of September 1901 till the first of July 1970 the Brothers formed a community in the parish school Saint-Peter in Kessel-Lo (Blauwput) (Belgium). In 1956 there were 7 Brothers in the community. Three old pupils joined the congregation.
From 1901 till the 9th of September 1922 the Brothers formed a community in the parish school Our Holy Mary in Scherpenheuvel (Belgium).
1903
From 1903 till.... the Brothers formed a community in the San Cuore School in Rome. 1956 there were 6 Brothers in the community.
1904
From 1904 till.... the Brothers were active in the Schola cantorum in the Sixtine Chapel in Rome.
1907
From the 20th of September 1907 till 1922 the Brothers formed a community in the Saint-John Berchmans School in Diest (Belgium). Three old pupils joined the congregation.
From the 25th of September 1907 till 1998 the Brothers formed a community in the parish school Saint-Hubertus in Niel near Antwerp (Belgium). In 1956 there were 5 Brothers in the community. 16 old pupils joined the congregation.
From the first of October 1907 till the 19th of September 1922 the friars formed a community in the parish School Saint-Laurentius in Hamont (Belgium). Three old pupils joined the congregation.
From 1907 till 1926 the Brothers were active in the Holy Heart School in Mechelen.
1908
The 5th of September 1908 the Brothers opened an orphanage in Herentals (Belgium) The Holy family Orphanage. This became the present Scheppers Institute with infant and primary school, as well as technical school and horticultural school.
In 1956 there were 20 Brothers in the community. Seven old pupils joined the congregation.
1912
From 1912 till 1930 the Brothers taught in the Scuola Vaticana in Rome; later this was brought over to the present Pio IX Institute. In 1956 there were 17 Brothers in the community.
From 1912 till 1915 the Brothers were active in the Oratorio in Certaldo (Italy).
1913
From 1913 till 1929 the Brothers were active in Vimercate in the school that was later brought over to the present san Antonio College in Busnago (Italy).
1914
In 1914 the Brothers opened the education House San Giuseppe alla Portella with postulate and novitiate as well as the Collegio Gentile in Fabriano (Italy). Later the education house was brought over to the Collegio gentile. In 1956 ther were 10 Brothers in the community.
1916
From 1916 till 1917 there were also Brothers in the primary school in Waterloo (Belgium)
1919
In 1956, from the 8th of October 1919 till…, the Brothers were active in the Saint-Egberts College in Chingford (Great-Britain). In 1956 there were 8 Brothers active in the community.
From the 27th of October 1919 till the 10th of October 1932, the Brothers were active in the orphanage “Holy Heart” in Swan-Lake (Canada).
1920
The 20th of April 1920 the Brothers formed a community in the Collegio Pergolesi in Jesi (Italy). Nowadays it is an old people’s home. In 1956 there were 10 Brothers in the community.
From the 20th of August 1920 till 1960 the Brothers formed a community in the parish school in Heist op den Berg (Belgium). IN 1956 there were 5 Brothers in the community. One old pupil joined the congregation.
