Chronological chronic

In 1839 V. Scheppers founded the Congregation of the friars of our Holy Mary of Mercy in Mechelen, Belgium. This congregation founded a lot of Scheppers institutes as well in Belgium as in Europe and also in lots of other continents. A lot of these settlements were considered as the work of Scheppers, but some of them became large Scheppers schools and also became apostolic works.
